Fine Dining in the Mountains
At the edge of Pellestova’s grounds lies Slakteriet, one of the hotel’s restaurants, with open views of the mountain landscape. With an open kitchen, a warm atmosphere and a wood-burning fireplace, we invite you to share a meal that is about more than taste: a place for connection, stories and memories.
Slakteriet is rooted in a close relationship with the mountains, the ingredients and the craft behind each dish. Much of what we serve comes from game hunted by our own team and prepared by our specialists on the floor below the restaurant. Following an ingredient from the hunt to the finished dish gives us a respect for it that we believe you can taste.
When you visit Slakteriet, our hosts welcome you at the door and lead you upstairs. Your evening begins in the lounge by the fireplace before you are shown to your table. There, a tasting menu offers more than the name might suggest: the best of the sea and the mountains, shaped by the season and the craft of our kitchen. We’ll leave the dishes themselves for the evening to reveal.

Menu Selection
Your choice of tasting menu must be made when booking your table. Any changes to the selected menu must be requested at least 48 hours prior to your reservation.
Please note that the menu cannot be modified. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer vegetarian or vegan tasting menus.

Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate allergies or intolerances to milk protein, eggs, onions or garlic. We are also unable to offer vegetarian or vegan alternatives.
